Semi-Automatic Drain Valve

Semi-automatic drain valves are open when depressurized (up to approx. 0.5 bar) and are opened manually at higher pressures. They are therefore used wherever the compressed air supply is shut off at least overnight.

Description

Semi-automatic drain valves are open when depressurized (up to approx. 0.5 bar) and are opened manually at higher pressures. They are therefore used wherever the compressed air supply is shut off at least overnight.

With the appropriate insert, installation in all plastic tanks and metal tanks with a sight glass is possible. When installing in metal tanks without a sight glass or G ⅛ socket thread, the insert is not required, which, by the way, differs from the insert for the manual drain.

The manual operation is carried out by pushing up the brass disc above the grommet for the condensate drainage hose, which can be fitted if required.
